Ingredients
- 3 cups mango chunks, fresh or frozen (thawed if frozen)
- 1 ⅓ cup vanilla yogurt or skyr
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (or to taste)
- Blend: Add the mango chunks, vanilla yogurt, and maple syrup into a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth and creamy to create the popsicle base.
- Pour: Evenly pour the blended mixture into popsicle molds. Tap the molds gently on the kitchen counter to remove any air pockets. Insert the popsicle sticks into the molds.
- Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 5 hours or preferably overnight until the popsicles are firm and ready to enjoy.
Notes
- To make sugar-free popsicles, omit the maple syrup; the natural sweetness of mango is often sufficient.
- If using plain Greek yogurt, consider adding 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and an extra tablespoon of maple syrup for added flavor.
- For a vegan version, substitute the yogurt with a dairy-free yogurt alternative.
- Add ⅓ cup of pitted frozen dark cherries to create cherry mango popsicles; you can also add cherry chunks directly into molds.
- Maple syrup can be substituted with honey, agave, date syrup, or sugar-free maple syrup.
- Store popsicles in the freezer for up to 2 months, either in the molds or airtight bags.
